Interested in our sheep but need delivery? 
In September we made a delivery trip though CA, the SW, Midwest, South and Southeast and we also sent sheep with friends who delivered to the East Coast.  Based on sales, we'll be looking at making similar trips next Summer.  This Winter we'll be staying closer to home but will consider deliveries to neighboring states for quantity purchases.  Contact us for more details.

Note: A new batch of pelts was sent to the tannery on
10/18/10 and should be available in about 2 months.

Our pelts are professionally tanned and are washable.  Below you'll find photos of Navajo-Churro pelts followed by Jacob pelts.  The front and back of each pelt is shown, followed by details about that pelt.  For questions or more information contact:  bidewee@aol.com  

Description of terms used:
Dimensions - are approximate and were measured at the longest/widest points.
Lock (Staple) Length - is an average of wool lock measurements taken throughout the pelt.

The Tannery has provided the following washing instructions: 
1) Rinse with cool water. 2) Wash with Woolite® in warm water on gentle cycle for 3 minutes. 3) Rinse in warm water (twice). Allow to go through spin cycles. Air dry, then brush if needed. 4) Dry in dryer set at 120° - or- air dry then put in dryer to fluff (with no heat).

If you're interested in purchasing a pelt contact: bidewee@aol.com and we'll calculate shipping costs.  Packages can be sent via the US Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS).  Shipping charges are in addition to the pelt prices shown and are billed at actual cost plus insurance.  Note:  UPS includes tracking and insurance for packages of up to $100 in value.  Delivery confirmation and insurance costs will be added to USPS packages.
